Jackie Lohan, Facilitator for Creative Expression

I create space for people to reconnect with their creative side in a way that feels relaxed, enjoyable and genuinely fulfilling.

Many of the people I work with wouldn’t describe themselves as creative. Some haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school. What they discover, often quite quickly, is that creativity isn’t something reserved for the “talented” — it’s something we all have access to when we give ourselves permission to explore.  No rights, wrongs or need for technical knowledge, just playfulness, exploration and the willingness to let go of that pesky inner critic that plagues most of us and stops us from having a go.

My role is to guide that process with a light touch. I listen closely to the barriers people put in front of themselves so the creative process becomes both an outlet and a mirror, offering small but meaningful shifts in perspective, and above all a sense of “can do.”

This work is undoubtedly influenced by my extensive career in design, marketing, brand-led environments and life coaching, where I developed a deep appreciation for how thoughtful use of colour, space, language and creativity can influence how people feel, engage and connect. What I offer now feels like a more personal and meaningful extension of that experience — and very much aligned with my purpose.

Above all, this is about enjoyment. There’s something powerful in giving your creative spirit an outing — not for performance or perfection, but simply for the sense of fun, freedom and fulfilment it brings.
