Join us for a reading and discussion with Cathy Conlon about her new book Swift, Vanessa & The Sluttery. A historical novel, it explores the intrigue between Jonathan Swift and Esther van Homrigh of Celbridge Abbey for whom Swift coined the name ‘Vanessa’. This is a book of particular significance for Celbridge, where their relationship developed along the banks of the Liffey and was immortalised in their correspondence and his poem Cadenus and Vanessa.
